We’re a couple that met later in life and we’re deeply grateful to Jill and Conscious Singles for making our extraordinary union possible! Truth be told, the two of us were reluctant to plunge into online dating, but we’re so glad we took the leap! 

Before meeting, each of us had done a lot of inner work. Learning to truly love ourselves turned out to be the key that unlocked the door to finding each other. Self-love created the foundation for the deep, joyful connection we now share.

We also actively manifested the love we were looking for. Kim would imagine the love of her life standing behind her with his arms around her. Richard wrote a list of what he desired in a partner. We certainly found these visualizations worked! It’s beyond amazing to us how much we have in common and how our outlook on life, our hopes and dreams are so aligned! 

One shared belief that connects us deeply is the idea of “youthing”—aging backwards by embracing joy, vitality, and positive intention. Just as we manifested love, we believe we can also manifest health, happiness, and a vibrant life.

After we found each other’s profiles on Conscious Singles, things moved very fast for us. We exchanged just one set of messages on the site, talked on the phone for a week and then met in person. Kim was living on a horse farm (in Tennessee) with guest cottages, and Richard stayed in one of them. We spent four magical days together—no initial coffee date to “see how it goes” for us! Our first kiss occurred within an hour of meeting. Two days in, we made the decision to get married and a week later Kim moved in with Richard in Roanoke, VA. We’ve never looked back. When divine timing is involved, the calendar becomes irrelevant.

Since then, we’ve launched a YouTube channel, @thekimandrichardshow, and a website featuring our Forever Honeymooners merchandise. Our goal is to spread joy and light through music, stories, poetry, laughter, and love. Our motto is “Living Love, Loving Life,” a philosophy we want to share with everyone.

We continue to consciously keep romance fresh in our relationship by following these three “A’s”: Accept, Appreciate, and Adore. Every day, we are so thankful we’ve come together at just the right time in our lives and our love just keeps on growing and flowing.
